Summer Fundraisers
Several fundraising events for this summer are being planned by the Board of Trustees to help pay for the replacement of the dishwasher in the church kitchen. Mark your calendars and plan to attend the following events:

The Board of Trustees held two fundraising events this summer to help pay church expenses. The third fundraiser will be held…Sunday, September 12 ~ Pick up your frozen pizza!
We began taking orders on August 22. There is still time to pre-order your 12-inch frozen pizza. The menu choices are:

Meat Lovers
Sausage & Pepperoni
Mushroom & Pepperoni ~ $10.00 each
Pepperoni, or Cheese ~ $8.00 each

Moravian Women's Fellowship
Moravian Women’s Fall Kick-Off
Dover Moravian Women will kick off the 2010-2011 year on Thursday, September 9, at 6:30 p.m. We will host a county-wide Moravian Women’s night. Mrs. Marie Couts has graciously agreed to be our guest speaker. Her topic for the evening will be “The Fruits of the Spirit Come Alive.” This event will be held in fellowship hall. The night will conclude with a dessert buffet. A sign-up list will be in the church lobby. We look forward to an evening filled with spiritual blessings and great fellowship with one another. Please mark your calendars.
Moravian Women’s Fall Retreat
West Salem Moravian Women are excited to announce the details for the upcoming fall retreat, October 1-3. Guest speaker for the weekend will be Rev. Rebecca Craver, who is serving as a church planter in Indianapolis, Indiana. Rebecca recognizes the great need for North America to embrace the Gospel in new ways. She believes we are a mission field ready for relationship with Jesus Christ. Fall Retreat is open to all women of the Moravian Church in the Mid-States Region.
Registration forms can be found on the lobby bulletin board. If you have any questions, contact Nancy Gibbs at 330-339-3673. Transportation will be provided. It is a wonderful opportunity to renew friendships and make new ones.
The Moravian Women’s Christmas Party will be held Thursday, December 9, 2010, in the fellowship hall. A program will be presented by “The Singing Innkeeper.” Please mark your calendars.

Ecumenical Men's Breakfast
Mark your calendar for the next ecumenical Men’s Breakfast which will be held on Saturday, September 18, from 9-11 A.M. at the First Moravian Church of Dover. If you have any questions, contact Tom Armstrong at 330-343-9561. Plan to come and enjoy this time of good food and fellowship! Invite a friend or two!

Sugar Cake Baking
Tuesday & Wednesday, September 21 & 22 Price $3.50
The Moravian Women sell sugar cakes eight times a year to help continue their mission of reaching out to others at home and around the world. September 21 will be the first baking this fall. Sugar Cakes will also be baked on the following dates: October 19 & 20,
November 16 & 17, and December 14 & 15. Place an order by calling Susan Paden (330-364-7101), and to offer your help with mixing and baking, call Joan Badertscher (330-343-6439).
